Monday night was not a great evening for Los Angeles Lakers forward Matt Barnes, as “TMZ” has reported that the nine-year veteran of the NBA was arrested for outstanding an outstanding traffic warrant in Manhattan Beach, California. Barnes, exacerbated the situation according to the website, by threatening one of the officers, upping the charges to resisting arrest, which is a felony.
The website states that Barnes had not paid a $26,000 fine for driving with a suspended license. Allegedly, Barnes allowed his emotions to get the best of him and he threatened one of the officers. The Free Agent forward was being held until he could come up with $51,000 for bail, which includes the money owed on the traffic violation.
