The NBA released the second update of the balloting for next month’s NBA All-Star Game on Thursday; with all the current leaders for the starting positions appearing to have the races all but finalized. Once again Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard has received more votes than any other player in the Association. His fellow starters as of this update in the East would be; Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade and Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose comprising the back-court while Heat forward LeBron James and New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony would fill out the starting five.
Once again it looks as if four of the five Western Conference starting slots will be filled by players from Los Angeles. Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has been the recipient of the most votes in the West; he is currently teamed up with Clippers point guard Chris Paul. The front-court as of this update would have Lakers center Andrew Bynum, Clippers forward Blake Griffin and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant as the starters.
