Adelman Meets With T-Wolves About Coaching Slot

As we get closer and closer to the end of August, the Minnesota Timberwolves still find themselves without a head coach after firing their former bench boss Kurt Rambis earlier this summer. The “Pioneer Press” has reported that according to a “league source” former Houston Rockets head coach Rick Adelman came to Minneapolis, on Tuesday to talk with the club’s officials about filling their vacant coaching slot.

Adelman was dismissed by the Rockets at the completion of this past season when they failed to make the Playoffs.Former Minnesota executive and head coach Kevin McHale will be on the bench for Houston next season. Adelman has had a long and successful coaching career, also serving stints as the bench boss for  Portland, Golden State  and Sacramento and has a record of 945-616. According to the report Adelman and former Toronto Raptors head coach Sam Mitchell are the T-Wolves two top choices to become their next head coach.
