During his career playing in the NBA, center Shaquille O’Neal never was shy about expressing his opinion and it appears that he will not change his style now that he has embarked in a new career a an NBA TV Analyst. The “Associated Press” reported that the Diesel made his NBA-TV debut on Tuesday, by showing viewers he is not afraid of insulting the men he played against just a couple of months ago. While talking about Eastern Conference Champs the Miami Heat, O’Neal referred to Dwyane Wade and LeBron James as the “Big Two” leaving power forward Chris Bosh out of the equation.
When Shaq was asked about his thoughts on the Heat he responded by praising Wade and James, but he neglected to mention Bosh. The former All-Star said “The Miami Heat, they’ve got a lot of great players, the `Big Two.’ They will be back.LeBron James is taking a lot of criticism, but I know LeBron very well. He hears everything that everyone is saying, so I think he’s going to come back and have an MVP year this year. Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, you know, they’re great players, they’re probably the greatest back-court ever assembled. And you know, they’re going to get back. They’re going to get back. They play well, they went through a lot, they put a lot of pressure on themselves. That’s how they like it. And they will be back.”
O’Neal helped Wade win an NBA Title with Miami back in 2006, and he played with James during the 2009-2010 campaign. Shaq will be part of “Inside The NBA” on TNT, as well as being featured on NBA-TV.
